THE INFLUENCE OF THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON THE PRACTICE TIME OF YOUNG FOOTBALL PLAYERS

Investigate practice time in different learning contexts for young football players. 45 players participated in the study, divided into 3 groups (under 10, under 12, under 14). Practice time was collected through an online form, information was obtained taking into account different practice environments, such as: alone, informal, formal, competition, structured (formal and competition) and unstructured (alone and informal). The first contact with football happened in the environment alone. The competition environment presented fewer hours of practice in all groups. The under 10 and under 14 groups achieved more hours in the unstructured environment compared to the structured one. We concluded that players had more access to unstructured environments and less access to the competition environment, so coaches can use this information to foster diverse practice environments and not just the formal environment.
