This research aims to map the studies of masculinities from the relationship between Physical Cultural Studies and Feminism through readings between body, physical culture, and power, to produce reflections that can support research in Brazilian physical education. The investigation was based on qualitative assumptions, based on a literature review on the themes "Body", "Masculinities" and "Physical Culture". In this work, three discussion topics were presented, which were elaborated through a bibliographical analysis of nine texts, highlighting the masculinity theme. Finally, it is concluded that the debate on masculinity in sport can contribute to several reflections on the way men participate and experience physical education in the Brazilian context.
