Abstract
Este trabalhomostra que o aumento das exigências sobre condutas ambientais adequadas estabeleceu novos parâmetros para a avaliação de investimentos. Através de um estudo de caso, que envolveuuma série de entrevistas em doze empresas, sendo seis da agroindústria de carnes e seis da indústria de revestimento cerâmico, constatou-se que os aspectos relacionados ao meio ambiente, tantoem razão de sua importância como componente de diferentes padrões de concorrência,quanto em função do atendimento dos preceitos do desenvolvimento sustentável, cada vez mais interferem na atratividade de um pr
