Política Editorial

The journal's editorial policy defines the following categories for evaluating texts: content, form, originality, relevance, and timeliness.

Processing Stages

Stage 1 – All submitted manuscripts will be pre-evaluated by the section editors of the section selected by the author during the submission process. Depending on the need, the section editors classify the articles as:

NO RESTRICTIONS – The article has a relevant topic for the journal and follows the basic submission rules. Therefore, it will be sent directly for evaluation.

WITH RESTRICTIONS – The article has a relevant topic for the journal, but does not follow the basic submission rules. Therefore, it will be returned to the author, who will be responsible for preparing the article appropriately.

SUBMISSION DENIED – The article does not have a relevant topic for the journal.

Stage 2 – Articles approved by their respective section editors will be evaluated by two reviewers; if necessary, ad hoc reviewers will be called upon. Reviewers will be selected based on affinity, experience, and expertise, which must align with the manuscript's theme. Note: following the double-blind standard.

Phase 3 – Reviewers complete a form created by the journal's Editorial Team and add comments on the article. They must judge the manuscript's acceptability level. If there are two or more unfavorable reviews, the article will be rejected at this stage.

Phase 4 – This refers to the phase of corrections and adjustments to the texts by the authors according to the reviewers' evaluations (only those approved in Phase 3). During the submission of the corrected text, the authors must prepare a response letter, where all accepted and rejected suggestions will be indicated. Rejected suggestions must be justified. Subsequently, the manuscript will be sent for review.

Phase 5 – Evaluation of the authors' corrections by the Section Editor, who will make the final decision. If necessary, the article may be submitted for further evaluation by the reviewers.

Phase 6 – All articles accepted for publication will undergo an editing and formatting process, with authors reserving the right to proofread prior to publication. Immediately afterwards, they are scheduled for publication. (Party responsible for the common editors).
