Editorial flow

The journal's editorial policy defines the following categories for evaluating the texts: content, form, originality, relevance and timeliness.

Processing stages

Phase 1 – All submitted manuscripts will be pre-evaluated by the section editors of the section selected by the author in the submission process. According to need, editors classify articles as:

WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS – The article has a relevant theme for the journal and follows the basic submission rules. With that, you will be sent directly for evaluation.

WITH RESTRICTIONS – The article has a relevant theme for the journal, but does not follow the basic submission rules. With this, it will return to the author, who will have the task of preparing the article properly.

SUBMISSION DENIED – The article does not have a relevant topic for the journal.

Phase 2 – Articles approved by the respective section editors will be evaluated by two reviewers, if necessary they will be called Ad. Hoc. Reviewers will be selected according to affinity, experience and expertise, which must be in accordance with the theme of the manuscript. Note: following the double blind pattern.

Phase 3 – Reviewers answer a form made by the journal's Editorial Team and add comments about the article. It is necessary for them to judge the level of acceptance of the manuscript. In case there are two or more unfavorable opinions, the article will be rejected at that stage.

Phase 4 – Refers to the phase of corrections and adjustments to the texts by the authors according to the reviewers' evaluations (only those approved in Phase 3). When sending the corrected text, the authors must prepare a response letter, in which all accepted and non-accepted suggestions will be pointed out. Unaccepted suggestions must be justified.

Phase 5 – Evaluation of authors' corrections by the Section Editor, he will make the final decision. If necessary, the article may be submitted for further evaluation by the reviewers.

Phase 6 – All articles accepted for publication will be submitted to the editing and formatting process, with the authors having the right to proofread prior to publication. Soon after, they are scheduled for publication.
