Abstract

This article begins with the enchantment and encounter with the book The Eye Of The Wild by Nastassja Martin, to analyze the uses of field journals in educational research and the becomings that take shape within them. It is written through the encounter of three teachers, attentive to the effects and problematizations of an otherness constituted within the micropolitics of an inventive teacher training. The text is organized according to the seasons of the year to explain what we have made of ourselves in the encounter between university and basic education. In autumn, attention is placed on listening; in winter, the focus is on otherness and heterotopia; in spring, the self-managing dimension of journal use is analyzed as a device, and in summer, the writing concludes with an ethical-aesthetic-political position regarding the work with inventive formation and its methodological position with field journals.
