Abstract

This article deals with pedagogical practices of thinking Education for ethnic relations with traditional populations, respectively with those affected by a dam. It discusses current demands around education, new social demands in articulation with ethnic-racial relations with a view to collective representations, as well as gathering general reflections and possible theoretical and pedagogical approaches. In the methodological paths, part of a pedagogical extension in a resettlement school for those affected by a dam, in this scenario the relevance of the study was perceived as an analytical perception with the public involved. At the end of the analyzes, the pedagogical extension allowed to gather elements around a necessary educational perspective, to rethink the school education of traditional populations, riverside residents in resettlement, in situations of displacement when they were affected by the implementation of a dam.
