We have concluded the activities related to 2024, with the continuous publication of 100 articles distributed in four issues. To improve NATIVA's editorial transparency, we present below a brief report of this period.
Of the articles published, it is worth highlighting Nativa's international growth (38 international articles from the following countries: Iraq (10), Ecuador (7), Ghana (5), Indonesia (4), Peru (3), Ukraine (2); some countries contributed with only one article – Malaysia, Philippines, Egypt, Mozambique, Vietnam, Thailand and Pakistan). Of the 100 articles, 49 were published in English, 2 in Spanish and 49 in Portuguese.

Read More Read more about JCR 2023As of 05/01/2024, articles ACCEPTED for publication in Revista NATIVA that will make up the regular and special issues will pay a publication fee of R$ 400.00 (regardless of the number of pages).
The publication fee will be mandatory for all works, regardless of whether the author is an editor and reviewer of the Journal. For international authors, a possibility of payment via PayPal or IBAN transfer is being created (after acceptance, the journal will email the authors).
For Brazilian authors, payments must be made via Fundação Uniselva (UFMT Support Foundation), through a bank slip generated with the data of the author responsible for the payment (who must necessarily be part of the manuscript's author body).
To pay, you must access the link below (Fundação Uniselva – Courses – Revista Nativa - Issuance of invoice) and click “Payment Rate” to register. After sending the registration, the invoice is generated.

After payment, the receipt must be attached to the Revista Nativa System. To do this, the corresponding author must access the system with their login and password; in the “Evaluation” tab, send proof of payment in “Transfer Author’s Version” (below the editorial decision). Afterward, you must also send a message to the email address nativaufmt@gmail.com with the job code and proof of payment.
Authors will receive a billing email, perhaps, when the article is in the layout editing phase, expected to occur up to 60 days before publication. The fee payment deadline will be up to 10 days after the notification email. Suppose payment is not made within the period above. In that case, another will replace the article in the layout process, and the predictability of its publication in an immediately subsequent issue is not guaranteed.
Receipts and other proof of payment must be requested from Fundação Uniselva (65 – 3318-9800).
Submissions have no fees and remain open.
Dear authors,
We are implementing the HTML version of articles published in NATIVA magazine from 2021 onwards. Therefore, some authors are receiving messages from NATIVA, informing them about the publication of new versions of their already published articles.
Don't worry, as these are not changes to the article, and there is no need for any action on the author's part. The articles continue to have the same DOI codes and information as the version published in PDF.
We highlight that this action seeks to increase the Journal visibility, since HTML allows other search options, which simplified metadata would not reach. To do this, a company (publisher) specializing in this provision of services was hired, with resources coming from CNPq and the Magazine Project at Fundação UNISELVA.
As a priority, we are carrying out this action with articles published in 2021 and 2022, which will be considered to define the CiteScore (Scopus) and JCR (Web of Science) values for 2023.
We hope these indexes will improve in the coming years, therefore, we encourage authors and readers to cite articles published in Nativa, safeguarding ethics and possibilities for each scientific work.

We inform you that the NATIVA Journal was indexed on the SCOPUS basis, as of May 2022. Likewise, the journal begins to be evaluated in international indexes (CiteScore, SNIP, and SJR) as of 2022.
When possible, and safeguards the ethical questions of science, we encourage the citation of two articles published in Revista Nativa, to allow better two h5 indices, CiteScore and JCR.

A Revista NATIVA adotará o fluxo contínuo a partir do v.8 n.3 (2020). Esse processo vêm sendo adotado por inúmeros períodicos e permite uma redução do tempo médio entre submissão e publicação, visto que, uma vez aceito, o manuscrito poderá ser publicado de imediato (sem aguardar o fechamento do número específico). Todavia, será mantido a estruturação de publicação da Nativa, com 6 números anuais (bimestral), sendo os números mantidos (In Progress) até o seu fechamento com 20 artigos. Esse processo também vêm sendo solicitado por bases de indexação, nas quais a Nativa está sob análise, para melhoria do Qualis e da visibilidade da revista. Dessa maneira, mantemos nosso compromisso com a comunidade científica brasileira e internacional, em sintonia com as demandas de indexadores.

Os artigos ACEITOS para publicação na Revista NATIVA a partir 01/07/2018 (a serem publicados em números regulares ou especiais), pagarão uma taxa de publicação de R$ 250,00 (independentemente do número de páginas).
Os pagamentos serão efetuados via Fundação Uniselva (Fundação de Apoio à UFMT), sendo que o sistema/projeto ainda encontra-se em fase de implantação.
Ao receber a comunicação do aceite do manuscrito, os autores serão notificados quanto ao pagamento da taxa de publicação.
Os artigos a serem publicados até o v.6, n.6 (dezembro/2018), não estão inseridos nessa cobrança. Informamos para tal, que os próximos números v.6 n.4, v.6 n.5 e v.6 n.6, já estão fechados e em fase de edição.
As submissões não apresentarão taxas e continuam abertas.
Motivação:
Até junho/2018 não foram impetradas taxas de submissão/publicação, visto que a revista possuía apoio financeiro da Fapemat.
