Resumo

As revisões sistemáticas são uma importante fonte para tomada de decisões práticas na área da saúde, que apresenta crescente número de publicações envolvendo o exercício físico como modelo de intervenção. A elaboração de uma revisão sistemática exige um elevado rigor metodológico, mas são inexistentes ou escassas as publicações que orientem autores da área do exercício físico e saúde a executar esse tipo de revisão. Logo, pretende-se fornecer subsídios básicos para a criação e implementação de revisões sistemáticas sobre exercício físico e saúde.
