Abstract

The article investigates the political and dialectical use of images in the Brazilian present. Through a dialogue with Hito Steyerl, Walter Benjamin and with the film "O Que Há em Ti", by Carlos Adriano (2020), it seeks to oppose, to the bewitching use of images by fascism, montage as a gesture of re-enchantment of our historical and political imagination.
