THE WAI WAI PEOPLE IN FIGHTING AND ORGANIZING A HEALTH EMERGENCY

The study aimed to map actions to organize and face the Covid-19 pandemic involving the Wai Wai people. Documental research, with data collection and analysis using as object of study the actions with the Wai Wai people supported by thematic analysis and concepts of social organization. 10 publications were identified, from which the following nuclei emerged: (1) Role of bodies and entities for the control and prevention of Covid-19, (2) Community organization (3) Feelings in the face of the pandemic and the right to the rite. The study pointed out the processes that involved illness, death and mourning.
