Historic centers: negotiation and tension between field agents heritage in the contemporary city

Abstract

Abstract: Based on the recognition of the social complexity of historic centers in the contemporary city, it is proposed to reflect on everyday practices, pointing out different forms of appropriation and attribution of meaning to urban heritage assets. In particular, the installation of an Afro-artisanal Fair in the Historic Center of Florianópolis/SC which, in its action, problematizes the indissolubility of material-immaterial heritage and reinforces the procedural character of cultural heritage.
