As categorias patrimonialização e musealização na valorização do patrimônio cultural Iny: ritxokos, bonecas karajá

Abstract

I present in this text reflections on different categories of preservation concerning ritxokos. Produced by the Iny Karajá people since immemorial time as children's toys, these dolls have interested travellers and researchers who have made them collections and museum collections since the 19th century.  As of 2012 they have also been recognized as Brazil's intangible cultural heritage.

In the context of ANONIMIZADO PARA PEER REVIEW , I have been particularly interested in following the convergences, limits and tensions between the categories patrimonialization and musealization, which are intertwined therein in different ways.
