The film “Suprema” tells the story of the American lawyer Ruth Ginsburg, a beginner at Harvard Law School in 1956, and her fight against gender inequality prevailing at the time. It is observed that, in social relations and everyday experience, society internalizes socializing practices and discourses that condition what is up to men and women. Stereotyped speeches about the role of women in the family transcend the private sphere, determining the dynamics and practices of the public sphere. In this sense,
perceive that Law has been legitimized as a male normative instrument that can contribute to expand male domination over women and / or to the construction and perpetuation of stereotyped social roles and practices.
