The IMPACT OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF COFFEE AREAS LOCATED IN BENGKULU PROVINCE, INDONESIA

Resumen

Pengembangan areal penanaman kopi sedang dilakukan di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak yang berkepentingan sebagai bagian dari upaya mendorong praktik pertanian. Berdasarkan pengamatan, dalam proses perencanaan pengembangan kawasan tersebut perlu melibatkan masyarakat, khususnya pemilik kebun kopi. Meski penting, survei awal menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan pengembangan kawasan perkebunan kopi masih sangat lemah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar peran pemberdayaan dalam perencanaan dan pengembangan wilayah tanam kopi. Investigasi dilakukan di wilayah Kepahiang dan Rejang Lebong di Provinsi Bengkulu, terutama karena kedua wilayah tersebut merupakan penghasil kopi terbesar di provinsi tersebut dan memiliki dokumen perencanaan pengembangan wilayah penanaman kopi masing-masing. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan dengan pendekatan metode campuran yang menggabungkan analisis interaktif dan alat kuantitatif seperti metode pembobotan skala Likert dan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Partial Least Square Analysis (PLS). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan mempunyai peran positif signifikan yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 19,069 lebih besar dari nilai kritis sebesar 1,96. Berdasarkan penelusuran, pengaruh pemberdayaan rata-rata sebesar 0,611 (61,1%) yang berarti pemberdayaan berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan perencanaan pengembangan kawasan kopi sebesar 61,1%. Hasil ini akan menekankan pentingnya pemberdayaan untuk memastikan bahwa perencanaan dan pengembangan kawasan kopi, khususnya di Indonesia, dilaksanakan secara efektif sesuai dengan tujuan yang direncanakan.
