The expansion of new technologies and the dissemination of digital media enables new ways of teaching and learning Geography, reorganizing the teaching-learning process, as well as favoring interdisciplinary teaching practice. The objective of this article is to present and reflect on the activities developed in the disciplines Atividade integradora de extensão em geografia I, Atividade integradora de extensão em geografia IV and Geografia e as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação, of the Degree in Geography course at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in the period 2021-2022. The methodology used to undertake the analysis is descriptive in nature, based on a qualitative approach of the experience report type. The results show that the activities developed in the format of thematic workshops for the elaboration of teaching materials in the aforementioned disciplines allowed interdisciplinarity in the first, third and fourth period classes of the Geography Degree course, thus deconstructing the historical dichotomy between Geography Physics and Human Geography. We also add that the use of new technologies to create teaching materials stimulated the creativity of students – future teachers – and reflection on the countless possibilities of integrating digital media in the teaching-learning process of geographic content in Basic Education.
