Abstract

Aiming to overcome students growing disinterest in traditional teaching, new methodologies were incorporated into education, such as, for example, educational digital games. This article presents experiences and results achieved through Kahoot!, a digital game-based learning platform, which was used to streamline Geography classes at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB), on the Picuí and Catolé do Rocha campuses. Based on the methodological procedures adopted, explained in the methodology of this paper, it was found that the use of Kahoot! Was quite beneficial, since the classes were more attractive, participatory and dynamic, making the teaching and learning process more productive.
