A territorialidade do grafite na paisagem urbana e seu desenvolvimento no bairro CPA entre 2018-2023

Abstract

The contemporary city presents itself as a material complex resulting from socio-spatial dynamics, that is, its space is (re)organized through the constant relationship between its physical materiality and the actions in the historical time of the subjects who live in it, a relationship that materializes a perpetual cycle of resignifications in the urban. Based on this premise, we propose in this article the study of some aspects linked to the territoriality manifested through graffiti in the urban landscape of the city of Cuiabá-MT, more precisely in the CPA neighborhood. The article focused on the graffiti group entitled “CPA Crew”. The analysis was developed from the bibliographic review on the concepts of geographic space, territory, territoriality and geographic landscape, being the reflection led to the understanding of urban artistic manifestations. With regard to methodological procedures, photographs and interviews were used.
