Geografia nas chulas do samba de roda do Grupo Pinote em Serrolândia-BA: reflexões e práticas

Abstract

This article presents reflections on the presence of geography between verses and songs in the chulas of sambas of the circle of Grup Pinote from Serrolândia-Bahia. An analysis of the use of musical language and popular culture as a didactic resource in the teaching of geography. The problem of the work revolved around the question: How does geography appear in the lyrics of the samba chulas of the Pinote group in Serrolândia - Bahia, and what are the pedagogical possibilities of using these songs in the apprehension of geographical themes and concepts? The research is qualitative, with a bibliographical basis and content analysis, through studies and interpretations of the lyrics of the chulas of the Samba group. The results of the research show that the song lyrics of the chulas of the Grup Pinote of Serrolândia samba circle can contribute to geographic analyses at different scales, from the local to the global, the phenomena correlating present in the daily lives of the subjects in diverse formative spaces and teaching modalities, to promote a meaningful geographic education.
