ANALYSIS OF MANAGEMENT MATURITY BY RESULTS IN THE MUNICIPAL PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OF MATO GROSSO

The main objective of this study is to understand the degree of maturity of management by results in the public management of municipalities that adhere to the GPE Program of the Court of Auditors of the State of Mato Grosso. The methodology used in this study was quantitative, and descriptive, with data collection using a semi-structured questionnaire collected using the Google Forms tool and using a 7-point Likert scale. The environment and unit of analysis were municipal governments and public agents (mayor, local coordinator, secretaries, and other employees) involved in the implementation of strategic planning with a focus on management based on results supported by TCE/MT. The results show that GRP instruments are being used by MT city halls. It is therefore understood that GPR is experiencing advances in this management model, but it still needs to be perfected.
