The topics on financial literacy, financial education and financial behavior has excelled in academia, this relevance is attributed to the increasing development of financial markets, demographic changes, economic, political and social factors which the company is exposed in recent decades. In this context, sought to investigate what financial performance, the effect of spending with a credit card and profile of income, the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, administrative and accounting (FEAC), the Universidade de Passo Fundo (UPF) in relation to the payment of the invoice of the credit card. The study is characterized as descriptive, data analysis was used for the statistical technique of ANACOR. Within the various findings highlights the fact that there occurs a significant relationship between age versus payment of the invoice credit card in relation to the commitment of the payment of the invoice of the card. It is expected that the study will contribute to promote economic and social improvements, in this way, allowing actions to be undertaken to reduce the levels of debt.
