LIVRO DIDÁTICO DE LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA: FORMANDO O LEITOR E O PRODUTOR DE TEXTOS?

Resumo

 O gênero é o lugar da manifestação social e discursiva que permite a interação verbal. Sua leitura é sócio-historicamente determinada pela sociedade em que é produzido/recebido e reflete as marcas desses processos. Neste artigo, discutimos como tais marcas são tratadas numa proposta de ensino de leitura apresentada em um Livro Didático de Língua Portuguesa destinado ao 1º Ano do Ensino Médio. Para tanto, baseamo-nos na teoria enunciativo-discursiva de cunho bakhtiniano, enfocando o conceito de condições de produção e de recepção do discurso. Com base nos resultados obtidos, afirmamos a limitação da proposta e a permanente necessidade de formação docente para o ensino numa perspectiva que transforme a interação em objetivo e metodologia desse ensino.

PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE TEXTBOOKS: ARE THEY FORMING READERS AND TEXT PRODUCERS?

 ABSTRACT: Genre is the space for the social and discursive manifestation that permits verbal interaction. Its interpretation is socially and historically determined by the society in which it is produced/received and reflects the marks of these processes. In this article, we discuss how such marks are treated in a proposal for the teaching of reading presented in a textbook for the Portuguese language designed for the first year of High School. We based ourselves on Bakhtin’s enunciative-discursive theory focusing on the concept of conditions of production and reception of discourse. Based on the results, we acknowledge the limitations of this proposal and the permanent necessity of teacher formation in a perspective that transforms interaction into the goal and methodology of teaching.
