A LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA NO ENSINO TÉCNICO-PROFISSIONALIZANTE: A HEGEMONIA DA CONCEPÇÃO INSTRUMENTAL

Resumo

A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa, foi realizada no Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Mato Grosso (CEFETMT), no campus de Cuiabá. Foram entrevistados professores da área técnica e de língua portuguesa, acerca de suas expectativas com relação à disciplina de língua portuguesa. Esse artigo, especificamente, concentra-se nas vozes de professores da área técnica, buscando apreender os sentidos por eles atribuídos à disciplina de língua portuguesa no contexto da educação profissionalizante. A leitura do arquivo de enunciados, embasada na Análise de Discurso Crítica, confirma a hegemonia da concepção instrumental da língua.

 THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE IN THE TECHNICAL-PROFESSIONALIZING TEACHING: THE HEGEMONY OF THE INSTRUMENTAL CONCEPTION

ABSTRACT: This qualitative research was carried out in the Federal Centre of Technological Education of Mato Grosso (CEFETMT), in the campus of Cuiabá. Teachers of the Portuguese Language and technical area were interviewed about their expectations in relation to the teaching of the Portuguese language. This article focuses on the opinions of the teachers working in the technical area, seeking to understand the meanings given by them to the Portuguese language in the context of professionalizing education. The reading of the utterance archives, based on the Critical Discourse Analysis, confirms the hegemony of the instrumental conception of the language.
