Descentralização Industrial Brasileira: A Tendência Permanece? Análise da Dinâmica Espacial no Período 1994-2009.
Abstract
Este trabalho analisa a tendência de concentração ou dispersão da indústria de transformação nas regiões Nordeste, Sul e Sudeste do Brasil no período de 1994 a 2009, a partir da mensuração de medidas de localização e especialização, próprias dos estudos de economia regional. A pesquisa teve cunho exploratório, utilizando-se de dados secundários e o emprego formal como variável de estudo. Como resultado, observou-se que a tendência à descentralização industrial no espaço nacional permanece, porém num ritmo desacelerado, favorecendo a redução das desigualdades econômicas entre as regiões.
