ENSINO DA LITERATURA: DIVERSIDADE E FRONTEIRA
Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é discutir o processo de desvalorização da literatura como disciplina escolar a partir de sua crescente diluição na sociedade. Posto em dúvida o cânone literário e o seu ensino escolar, críticos saíram em defesa da literatura. Uma década após a publicação dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio - PCNEM, cabe refletir sobre a integração da literatura à área da leitura e como se dá o tratamento do texto literário frente aos vários gêneros textuais oferecidos aos alunos. A aula de literatura tornou-se apenas um lugar a mais de circulação do texto literário, e ao professor e crítico literário juntam-se outros formadores de público e gosto.

TEACHING OF LITERATURE: DIVERSITY AND FRONTIER
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to discuss the process of devaluation of literature as a school subject on the basis of its increasing dilution in society. Since the literary canon and its teaching were called into question, critics came out in defense of literature. A decade after the publication of the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais para o Ensino Médio - PCNEM, it is worth to reflect on the integration of literature to the area of reading and how literary texts are treated among the various textual genres offered to students. Literature classes became just another place where literary texts circulate and other trend setters join the literature teacher and the literary critic.
