MEMÓRIA E INTERDIÇÃO: CICATRIZES DISCURSIVAS EM NARRATIVAS DE DESCENDENTES DE IMIGRANTES ITALIANO

Resumo

Esta pesquisa analisa narrativas de descendentes de imigrantes italianos para problematizar identificações ao ser-estar-entre-línguas. O corpus se constitui de entrevistas semiestruturadas com sujeitos da terceira idade, da cidade de Concórdia-SC, que não têm a língua portuguesa como sua dita língua materna. A partir das narrativas, percebe-se que, na constituição identitária desses sujeitos, há marcas da língua italiana que não foram apagadas, tornaram-se cicatrizes que continuam significando na discursividade.

MEMORY AND PROHIBITION: DISCURSIVE SCARS IN NARRATIVES BY DESCENDENTS OF ITALIAN IMMIGRANTS

ABSTRACT: This research analyzes narratives by descendants of Italian immigrants and it aims to discuss identifications of being-among-languages. The corpus is formed by semistructured interviews with the elderly from Concórdia - Santa Catarina State (Brazil). These people's mother tongue is not Portuguese. By analyzing their narratives, we have come to the conclusion that within the constitution of these subjects' identity there are Italian language markers that have not been extinguished, and these markers have become scars that continue meaning in discourse.
