Tectona grandis Linn F. was introduced in Mato Grosso State at the end of the 1960s and, each year, new plantations are made in order to replace the native woods of noble use. The teak plantations are made, mostly, in mosaic systems, and this is the largest gain of this timber specie. For this study, survey were made in teak stands in the municipalities of Santo Antônio do Leverger and Brasnorte, in properties of companies Brasteca and Berneck, respectively. The plantations studied can be considered as young, with no more than 11 years of age, with the possibility of short rotation, allowing discussion of the importance in the processing of wood with small dimension. This study aimed to determine a volumetric model and build a volume table for teak in the regions under study. To estimate the volume, the equation that best fit was: log(v)=-4,141+1,781 log(d)+0,974 log(h), with R2ajus equal to 0,981 and Syx equal to 3.45%.
