O presente artigo examina a obra Cartas Portuguesas à luz da teoria psicanalítica, mostrando como a autora utilizou-se da escrita epistolar para dar vazão, organizar e, por fim, liquidar o seu delírio erotomaníaco transformando-o em obra literária.

EROTOMANIA IN THE WORK LETTERS OF A PORTUGUESE NUN

Abstract: This article examines the work Letters of a Portuguese Nun through psychoanalytic theory, demonstrating that the author made use of the epistolary novel to vent, organize, and finally liquidate her erotomaniacal delirium by transforming it into a literary work.
