como constatado por Guimarães et al., 2012 que identificou
bactérias de crescimento lento alcalinizando o meio de
cultura e identificadas como Bradrhizobium spp., com 100%
de similaridade pelo sequenciamento do 16S rRNA. A
avaliação das características culturais é uma ferramenta
simples e barata, porém, durante todo o processo de
avaliação das colônias deve-se manter um rigor quanto aos
padrões comparativos de estirpes já descritas (MARTINS et
al., 1997).
5. CONCLUSÕES
Neste estudo, foram identificadas duas espécies de
leguminosas nodulíferas em uma formação vegetal de campo
rupestre quartzítico na Borda Leste da Serra do Espinhaço
Meridional. Os resultados obtidos revelaram uma notável
diversidade morfológica das bactérias fixadoras de nitrogênio
que nodulam a leguminosa C. fasciculata nessa área específica.
Além disso, a espécie C. fasciculata exibiu características
altamente promissoras para o uso em programas de
recuperação de áreas similares às estudadas. Essas
características desejáveis sugerem que essa leguminosa pode
desempenhar um papel crucial na melhoria da qualidade do
solo e na restauração da vegetação em ecossistemas de campo
rupestre quartzítico.
Essas descobertas fornecem informações valiosas para
futuros esforços de restauração e conservação desses
ambientes frágeis, destacando a relevância da simbiose entre
leguminosas nodulíferas e bactérias fixadoras de nitrogênio
para a sustentabilidade ecológica da região. Considerando as
características benéficas observadas na espécie C. fasciculata,
sua incorporação em projetos de restauração pode
potencialmente contribuir para a preservação e regeneração
desses ecossistemas únicos.
